History of DG Motors DG Motors was founded in 2001 by Doug Hendricks and Guy Henson. Both Doug and Guy started their careers by attending Hennepin Tech in Automotive Machining. Both also started with their first work experience at the primary Napa machine shop wear they had an opportunity to work on just about every possible engine combination available. This experience lead them both to be taken in by Myron Cottrell at Cotrell Racing Engines, locally known as "The Horse Power Farm" and internationally known as TPIS. Myron's shop is were they learned the ins and outs of building endurance race engines. Here they were able to order every available performance part from aftermarket manufactures and test the manufacture performance claims. Having access to the in-house engine dyno allowed Doug and Guy to learn which manufactures products lived up to their claims and which didn't. This experience also taught them what products worked together and which didn't. By going through this process they can help you make sure you buy the right parts and don't waste money on bad or mismatched parts!
