Greg's 1967 GTO.

Greg's GTO suffered from vapor lock, bad starting, stumbling, and a bogging transmission.  His car was worked on by several shops but the problems persisted.  Having spent a lot of time and money he was still plagued by these problems.  The problems haunted him so bad that he wouldn't even drive the car as he was never sure if he would make it back home even on a short trip!  Greg was looking for what so many of our customers are looking for.  He was looking for a shop that could do all the mechanical work but, more importantly, he was looking for a shop he could trust.  Greg first came to the shop just to see how we worked on other customer cars and how those customers were treated.  With all the positive results we had with other customers we finally earned his trust and confidence and he had us start on solving his problems.  For Greg's GTO we replaced the entire fuel system (pump, lines, regulator, new carburetor) and installed a K&N air filter & lid.  On the ignition side of things we installed a pertronics unit in his Mallory distributor.  A Blaster II coil, MSD 6 AL, and Tyler plug wires wrapped up the ignition system.  The car is now the screaming power machine Greg wanted that is fun to drive and is reliable so he can actually enjoy driving it!  This winter we will be installing a new 18 fuse panel & box and rewire the engine compartment and instrument panel.
