Nick's 2002 Lightning

My first encounter with D&G Motors was with one of my Lightning pick ups.  After only 6,000 miles I melted a piston.  I brought it back to Ford for warranty work.  After they pulled my engine they disassembled it to find the bad piston.  They then informed me this was not covered under warranty and that my only option was to purchase a new engine from them and that I would be responsible for the entire labor bill.  On top of that they would NOT be any warranty on the truck, even with the new engine.  I decided to fin another option, this is when I found Doug and Guy.  They allowed me to observe there work on jobs they had in process.  After seeing the extra steps they would take to make sure that the end result would be the best possible.  I tested them by showing them my melted piston.  They took the time to walk me through, step by step, the process of how the part was damaged from start to the final destruction.  Then I realized there was more to it than merely replacing the part that was broken.  To prevent this from happening again they would have to address the initial cause of the damage.  After they finished putting my truck back together I have flogged it day after day and it is still running strong.  Since first meeting Doug and Guy I have had all my performance modifications performed at D&G Motors.
